It is an honor for me to return to Warburg Realty after 10 years.
I am pleased that Warburg has been a privately held, family-owned blue-chip residential brokerage company for 120 years. Our firm’s predecessor, in fact, wrote the first cooperative plan in New York City more than 100 years ago.
Warburg now has a chic new look and outstanding stylish marketing materials, yet the firm, under the leadership of Frederick Peters and the direct management of Camille Duvall, retains what made it great in the first place: integrity, value, honesty, and a corps of dedicated professionals.
I have been selling Manhattan real estate for almost 30 years, and I stopped counting sales volume a few years ago when I surpassed $1 billion in sales. I have negotiated sales of office buildings, loft buildings, multifamily residential high-rises, townhouses, and bulk sales of rent-regulated apartments totaling more than 1,000 properties, and I was the sales director of eight new-construction buildings. I have represented and successfully sold homes from studios to 10,000-sq.-ft. cooperatives and condominiums. More important than the sales I’ve closed, however, is that I take my fiduciary responsibility very seriously.
Originally from Memphis, TN, I came to New York City to study the archaeology of Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Syria. Later, armed with a nonmarketable degree, I graduated with an MBA from Columbia. I then started my real estate career at the bottom of the heap, as a temp secretary for a small investment real estate firm in midtown Manhattan. My first sale was a 17-story loft building in the West 30s. The excitement of that first sale, a tremendous value then, was like a shot of jet fuel, and it has been my pleasure to continue selling real estate since.
The whole of my business is from referrals. When you work with me, you will be listened to, and I will make every effort to meet your requests.
