Press Release
Warburg Realty, one of Manhattan’s oldest and most respected residential real estate companies, is set to participate in The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Upper Manhattan Committee’s first Harlem Open House Expo, a two-day event supporting the work of uptown brokers. The Expo will take place on April 6th and 7th from 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m., and will showcase exclusive co-ops, condos and townhouses for sale, including several of Warburg’s exclusive listings. “Harlem is a neighborhood rich with heritage, and we are excited to feature these listings on the tour, as they are a great example of what this neighborhood has to offer,” said Charlie Lewis, a senior managing director at Warburg Realty who is spearheading the firm’s Harlem initiative.
As the first luxury brokerage to have a presence in Harlem, Warburg Realty is familiar with the attributes of this neighborhood, and have excitedly participated in the transformation of the neighborhood into the destination it has become today. As part of the Expo, attendees will visit two of the firm’s exclusive Harlem listings: 42 West 120th Street and 2101 Fifth Avenue.
Participants will visit Park Place, the prewar building at 42 West 120th Street, located directly across the street from Marcus Garvey Park. The units consist of recently renovated one- and two-bedrooms homes featuring crown molding, solid oak flooring and a white-marble open kitchen with GE Profile stainless steel appliances. This development has a limited number of remaining units available, as it sold quickly due to its great location and first-rate amenities.
The second building with a Warburg listing on the tour is 2101 Fifth Avenue, a 13-unit pre-war building from 1912, located on the corner of 129th Street. The residence is a one-bedroom duplex with 1296 square feet of livable space which includes two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, two outdoor patios, a chef’s kitchen and plenty of closet space.
In addition to these listings, Warburg Realty has experienced great success at other Harlem developments, including the recent sell out of 555 Lenox Avenue and 118 West 112th Street. Homes in this popular Manhattan neighborhood continue to sell quickly, as many buyers are looking to take advantage of the great value and vibrant community with lots of great restaurants and terrific shopping options.
