More than 200 women from across the tri-state area packed inot Carriage House– Chelsea’sheadlining luxury condominium– to spend an evening with British author and literary sensation E. L. James in what was her first public appearance in the United States. The standing room only event coincided with the debut of James Fifty Shades Freed, the final installment of her wildly popular Fifty Shades Trilogy.
“What an amazing event!” said E. L. James a TV executive and mother of two from West London. “The venue was exquisite and the ladies and I had a blst– it was extraordinary. I felt like a rock star!”
New YorkCity’s premier socializing networkfor moms and moms-t-be, Divalysscious Moms, co-organized the event, which was held in two of Carriage Hoese’s ultra-luxury penthouses: Penthouse A–a 1,279-square-foot, $2,75 million home featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fireplace, sky lights and 512 square feet of outdoor space; and Penthouse B–a $3.6 million 1,14 -square-foot duplex with
two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, two terraces, a hot tub and gas grill.
“In my eight years of business. I have never seen a response like this!” said Lyss Stern, founder of Divalysscious Moms. “The event was a runaway success and Carriage House’s stellar penthouses were the perfect backdrop.”
