If you’re looking to buy a home, our search to see just how far your dollars will go in New York City real estate continues with a budget of up to $1.4 million. NY1’s Jill Urban filed the following report.
We start our search with an ultra modern two bedroom apartment on the Upper West Side. “4AD is a two bedroom, two bath apartment in a beautiful prewar building. The apartment itself has been totally gut renovated. There’s a brand new chef’s kitchen with every attention to detail. There are French doors leading out to a Juliet balcony. The apartment is centrally air conditioned with brand new flooring, brand new tiles, brand new ceilings,” said Andrea Daniels of Warburg Realty
The home, pictured above, is also wired with a built-in sound system and includes a washer/dryer. It’s located just steps from Riverside Park.
The home is listed for $1,449,000 and the maintenance is just over $2,000 per month. It’s been on the market for three months.
Our next stop brings us to a spacious four bedroom home in Douglaston, Queens
“This is a fabulous, spacious center hall colonial which is newly constructed. There is a formal dining room, living room, modern eat-in kitchen plus a family room. There are four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a full basement,” said Deirdre Folan of Folan Real Estate Group.
The lot size is 60×100. There’s also a private yard with an in-ground pool and a detached one car garage. The home is listed at $1,448,000 and taxes are $6,770 a year. It’s been on the market for almost three months.
Over on Staten Island, we found another center hall colonial in Todt Hill.
