PRICE SEGMENT PREFORMANCE
Thus far, in 2018, there have been 184 closed sales transactions in the Astoria area. Of these, over 56% were priced below $1 million, and 44% priced between $1 million – $3 million. The RLS reports 41 currently active listings on the market, of which 73% are listed below $1 million, and 27% are listed between $1 & $3 million.
PRICE TYPE PERFORMANCE
The median asking price for condos currently on the market is $699,000 and $479,000 for co-ops versus $1.54 million for townhouses.
The median closed sales price in 2018 to-date is $655,000 for condos and $380,000 for co-ops versus $1.23 million for townhouses.
