Abby Solomon
Real Estate Professional
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Licensed As: Abby G. Solomon
Abby Solomon has lived in New York for over 30 years where she has raised her two children. Her previous career in television, her extensive volunteer work and her interest in architecture and the built environment has guided her to a career in real estate.

Abby previously worked as a television executive in casting and talent development at Nickelodeon where she identified actors for TV and film and negotiated contracts. Prior to this, she held positions at ABC, MTV, “The Jon Stewart Show,” and Lifetime Television. Living and raising children on the Upper East Side, she continues to be an active volunteer at Dalton, Temple Emanu-El, the Jewish Federation and the Harvard Parents Committee. She also supports the John D. Solomon Fellowship for Public Service, an organization that provides graduate students in New York City an opportunity to complete a nine-month, paid fellowship in a New York City government agency. Abby spearheads Project Prom, an annual community service initiative that provides dresses, shoes and jewelry to over 300 low-income New York City high school girls for prom.

Her passion for real estate began after purchasing her own home. Abby reconfigured the floorplan to accommodate her family’s needs, opening up rooms, creating a loft-like space, and maximizing city views. She also spent extensive time researching environmentally friendly materials that are best to use in a home. This, combined with her many years of renting apartments and houses all over the world, has made her an expert on how to set up the most efficient, effective and healthy environment when buying and starting a home.

Outside of the office, Abby walks the span of Manhattan and has a true understanding of what each neighborhood has to offer. Her active lifestyle has brought her and her family around the world as they travel and discover new cities by foot. Abby is a graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
