Julio Izquierdo joins Warburg with a background in finance and accounting, having started his professional career as a CPA with KPMG, and transitioning into finance where he spent more than 18 years in sales and trading for hedge funds and a boutique investment bank. Fluent in Spanish, Julio's primary business focus was in Latin America and emerging markets. His experience on Wall Street allows him to understand his clients’ needs, assess the market expeditiously, and deliver the best advice based on his due diligence and strong work ethic in a professional, discreet manner.
As a real estate investor, Julio also understands the importance of finding value and redeveloping properties in order to establish them within a portfolio. He has experienced the joys of holding properties as a landlord, and in some instances, repositioning and reselling them.
Julio is a native of Miami but has called New York City home for nearly 15 years. He resides on the Upper East Side along with his wife and three beautiful children who attend school in Manhattan. He and his family enjoy boating and spending time in their adopted beach town, Southampton.
